Chinese Jiulong Village begins grape harvest season

The orchards of Jiulong Village in Tongren, southwest China's Guizhou province, have entered the annual grape harvest season. Around 40 hectares of alpine grapes are currently being picked.

The grapes are cultivated on mountain slopes, where the climate provides suitable conditions for production. The average annual temperature is about 22°C, combined with consistent rainfall and sunshine. These factors support sugar accumulation during the growing cycle.

To facilitate sales, Jiulong Village has developed a combined online and offline marketing model. Orders can be placed through online platforms or by phone. Consumers purchasing more than 25 kg of grapes qualify for free delivery to the city. Bulk purchases are offered at lower prices.

In addition to delivery, customers can visit the orchards directly to pick grapes. This option allows buyers to source fruit while also engaging with the production area.
