U.S. farmer grows record 828.5 g peach

The heaviest peach is 828.5 g (1 lb 13 oz) and was grown by Henry Chiles (USA) in Crozet, Virginia, USA, as verified on 10 September 2025.

The PF-27A peach was grown on Henry's family farm.

He told GWR that the weather conditions over spring and summer were perfect for growing the giant peach due to spring frost reducing competition of flowers on the tree and summer rains helping growth.
