From January to July 2025, Azerbaijan exported 3,807 tonnes of pears, valued at USD 2.6 million, according to the State Statistics Committee. This represents a 43% increase in volume and a 52% rise in value compared to the same period in 2024.
Russia remained the primary destination, purchasing 3,629 tonnes worth USD 2.5 million (+42% and +50% y/y). Other markets included Kazakhstan with 104 tonnes worth USD 51,000 (+11% and +16%), the UAE with 38.8 tonnes worth USD 15,500 (a tenfold increase in volume), Qatar with 8.2 tonnes worth USD 13,150 (no exports recorded last year), and Turkey with 17 tonnes worth USD 12,800 (also a new destination in 2025).
