AgroFresh will present its range of postharvest technologies during Fruit Attraction 2025. The company will showcase solutions including SmartFresh, Harvista, FreshCloud Inspection, and Rubens. In addition, Rubens has been entered into the Fruit Attraction Innovation Hub Awards in the digital innovation category.
SmartFresh is a 1-MCP-based treatment used to preserve firmness, flavor, and color in apples, reducing postharvest losses and supporting long-distance exports. Harvista is a pre-harvest solution for harvest management, which has received exceptional authorization in various European countries. Authorizations differ between markets, and growers are advised to consult local requirements.

FreshCloud Inspection is designed to collect and analyze postharvest data, providing information to support decision-making. Rubens is a portable spectral scanner that allows non-destructive testing of fruit quality indicators, enabling growers to better predict harvest windows and assess produce quality.
AgroFresh will also take part in the Fruit Next conference program at Fruit Attraction. Presentations include "Disinfection at Every Step: Supporting Fruit Safety" on September 30 at 10:30 CET, delivered by Angélique Jaunay, EMEA R&D and Regulatory Director, and "From Data to Decisions: Digital Tools Transforming Postharvest Management" on September 30 at 15:30 CET, presented by Alejandro Garcia, EMEA Digital Sales Lead.
The company states that its aim with these technologies is to support growers and exporters in optimizing operations, managing supply chain challenges, and maintaining fruit quality throughout the postharvest process.
