Australian fruit and vegetable industry backs Wiggles campaign

The Australian fruit and vegetable industry has announced support for The Wiggles in connection with their Tree of Wisdom character. The partnership includes The Wiggles Tree of Wisdom Arena Spectacular Tour, a new studio album scheduled for release on October 3, and two singles already launched.

Alongside the collaboration, the industry will introduce a campaign called "Fruit and Veggies Yummy Yummy." The initiative uses music and performance to encourage children to increase their fruit and vegetable consumption. It will be promoted during the tour through digital and social media, retail outlets, concerts, and educational material.

The national arena tour begins on November 1. Dates include Perth on November 1, Adelaide on November 9, Hobart on November 15, Canberra on November 22, Melbourne on November 29, Brisbane on December 6, Newcastle on December 10, and Sydney on December 13 and 20. A performance will also take place at the Tamworth Country Music Festival on January 25, 2026.

The Tree of Wisdom character has gained widespread attention on social media, with videos exceeding 200 million views. The role is performed by Dominic Field, nephew of the original Wiggle, Anthony Field. He commented that people connect with his character's dance moves, which include routines such as "the sprinkler" and "shakin' the leaves."

The new album will feature both original and cover tracks. Releases include Nutbush City Limits, performed by Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins with the Tree of Wisdom, and Rika-Pudy-Fan-Dan-Doogly!, described as a high-energy track centred on rhythm and group movement.

The campaign "Fruit and Veggies Yummy Yummy" adapts the group's earlier song Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy to promote healthy eating. It aligns with The Wiggles' broader use of music and performance in educational outreach.
