Sormac to show fresh cut machines at autumn events

Sormac, a manufacturer of fruit and vegetable processing machinery, will present its latest equipment at Pack Expo in Las Vegas (29 September – 1 October 2025) and Fruit Attraction in Madrid (30 September – 2 October 2025).

At both exhibitions, the company will display the BSM Belt Slicer, designed for straight, cross, julienne, grated, and crinkle cuts. The slicer operates at 1,500 RPM and has a belt width of 150 mm and a product height allowance of 130 mm. Throughput is up to 34 cubic meters per hour (1,200 ft³/hr).

The FS-3600 MultiSystem, a semi-automatic slice and wedge cutter, will also be demonstrated. It cuts a range of fruits and vegetables into wedges, slices, or sticks. The model includes a Smart HMI (Human-Machine Interface) that provides real-time warnings, monitors daily production, and allows processors to program recipes for various products and cutting styles. Capacity reaches up to 4,000 pieces per hour.

Other machinery to be exhibited at Pack Expo includes the UP-4000 Knife Peeler for carrots and cucumbers, the MC-44/Vario Basket Centrifuge, and the MP-400 Melon Peeler.

Sormac will be present at booth N-7060 at Pack Expo Las Vegas, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the company will exhibit at booth P10-C21 together with Manter Packaging Ibérica at IFEMA Madrid.
