According to data from the State Committee on Statistics, Uzbekistan exported 1.46 million tonnes of fruits and vegetables between January and August 2025, a 7.3% increase over the same period in 2024 (1.36 million tonnes).
Export revenues reached $1.27 billion, a 37% increase year-on-year ($922.6 million in 2024).
The breakdown by product category is as follows:
- Fruits: 281,600 t / $339.5 million (189,000 t/$240.6 million last year)
- Vegetables: 498,700 t / $170 million (594,800 t/$157.7 million in 2024)
- Melons and watermelons: 215,200 t / $52.5 million (140,100 t/$32.9 million in 2024)
- Other fruits and vegetables: $637.4 million
Among individual products, exports of onions, cabbage, and radishes increased in value despite a reduction in volume. Tomato and carrot exports fell both in volume and value, while cucumber exports rose in both metrics.
Significant growth was recorded in dried grapes, dried plums, and apricots, as well as fresh grape exports. Cherry and apricot exports slightly decreased.
Exports of peanuts and nuts rose from 11,100 tonnes ($24.8 million) in 2024 to 14,400 tonnes ($34.6 million) in 2025.
Fruit and vegetable products accounted for 5.5% of total Uzbek exports.
