Hessing Foodservice, formerly known as Heeren Groenten & Fruit, has acquired the operations of Kempenfoods. With this move, Hessing Foodservice strengthens its position in the fresh produce market and further expands its range of fresh vegetable products.

According to the parties involved, the cooperation between the Hessing Foodservice and Kempenfoods teams creates additional strength to serve customers, both nationally and internationally, even better.
Integrated into existing site
The production activities of Kempenfoods will be integrated into Hessing Foodservice's existing site in Eindhoven. This should lead to a more efficient organisation of processes and enable a faster response to customer requirements at home and abroad. Kempenfoods' products – including sous-vide preparations, grilled vegetables, and vegetable purées – are a valuable addition to the existing range.
The Kempenfoods staff will also transfer to Hessing Foodservice, thereby retaining their knowledge and experience and ensuring continuity in quality and service.
