"The official launch of Brogdex Fruitech Inc., a U.S.-registered corporation headquartered in Florida, marks a breakthrough in post-harvest technology," according to Mr. Arif Muhammad Rana, President of the company. Backed by more than 20 years of dedicated R&D, the company is unveiling its flagship solutions, Extend-Fresh® coatings, Extend-Life® fungicides, and high-capacity fruit processing machinery, with up to 80 tons/hour, while also initiating legal action against FMC and Fomesa for the use of low-grade waxes in food coatings.
"After two decades of research and innovation, we are proud to introduce Extend-Fresh, a
line of coatings that restores confidence in fruit exports," Mr. Rana said. "These coatings deliver the gloss, shelf-life, and safety that exporters demand. Our coatings are developed exclusively with 100 percent T1-grade Carnauba wax, the highest quality and safest grade available. This wax is FDA & EFSA approved, already used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and organic food coatings, and provides a gloss, clean finish, while also extending shelf life."
The Extend-Life line offers fungicidal solutions that protect citrus against postharvest mold, rot, and decay. According to Rana, this solution has been designed to integrate with modern waxing and handling systems and is safe when applied as directed. "Our Extend-Life fungicides ensure that fruit quality is protected during long-haul shipping and storage," Mr. Rana explained.

FMC & Fomesa Carnauba Wax
Independent research by Brogdex Fruitech Inc. confirms that FMC and Fomesa continue to supply coatings based on T3-grade Carnauba wax—a low-purity, industrial material.
T3 wax is:
- Dark, unrefined, and unsuitable for food use
- Typically used in furniture polish, shoe wax, tires, and rubber
- Provides weak gloss, faster spoilage, and sticky residues
- Still sold at premium prices, misleading exporters and packhouses
"This practice has compromised fruit quality, increased spoilage, and misrepresented industrial wax as food-grade," Mr. Rana stated.
Brogdex Fruitech Inc. confirms that its legal team is preparing lawsuits against FMC and Fomesa, seeking accountability for economic damages from accelerated spoilage, misrepresentation of industrial-grade wax as food-grade, and potential food safety risks.
A global health reservation has been launched. Exporters and businesses affected by FMC or Fomesa coatings are encouraged to register as impacted parties via: [email protected].
Machinery
In addition to a coating, Brogdex Fruitech Inc. also delivers turnkey fruit processing and waxing machinery, designed and manufactured in-house, with capacity up to 80 tons per hour for exporters and packhouses worldwide. The systems include:
- Automated washing, waxing, and drying lines
- Conveyor and rapid packing systems
- Overhead carton/crate conveyors
Future expansion
Building on its R&D foundation, Brogdex Fruitech Inc. is developing new formulations under
Extend-Fresh and Extend-Life for mangoes, apples, melons, and stone fruits.
"Our philosophy is simple: excellence before expansion," Mr. Rana emphasized.
"We invite distributors, agents, and wholesalers worldwide to partner in delivering our Extend-Fresh coatings, Extend-Life fungicides, and high-performance machinery to fresh produce markets. This is not just a product launch, it's a call to restore safety, performance, and transparency in the fruit industry," said Mr. Rana.
With Florida as its strategic hub, Brogdex Fruitech Inc. wants to move the global
transition to food-safe coatings, advanced fungicides, and next-generation machinery.
"Our mission is clear: restore purity, extend freshness, and strengthen the global food supply chain," Rana concludes.
