Procurant and Fusionware launch supply chain integration

Procurant, a procurement and order management platform for the perishables sector, and Fusionware, an ERP and operations platform for produce agriculture, have announced an integration aimed at automating processes and improving supply chain visibility.

The integration allows Fusionware customers to reduce manual order entry, simplify EDI requirements, and synchronize orders, inventory, and shipments in real time. By linking Fusionware's ERP system directly to the Procurant network of retailers and foodservice buyers, the setup enables faster onboarding, ensures regulatory compliance, and removes the need for custom integrations.

Kevin Brooks, Chief Revenue Officer at Procurant, said, "With this integration, Fusionware customers can streamline their operations, reduce overhead, and get instant access to an expanding network of trading partners, no middleware, no duplication, no delays."

Fusionware CEO Creg Fielding added, "Agricultural operations are increasingly dependent on interoperability and speed. Our collaboration with Procurant brings those capabilities directly into the daily workflows of growers, packers, and shippers. The result is faster response times, greater data accuracy, and a foundation for future automation."

The joint solution focuses on the requirements of perishable goods supply chains, where shipment delays or data errors can create financial losses. Features include real-time synchronization of purchase orders, confirmations, and shipment data, automated compliance with trading partner requirements, and faster order-to-cash cycles with fewer manual interventions.

Early adopters, such as Hagerman Canyon Farms and Fresh-Pik Produce Inc., have reported operational benefits from the integration. Candice Hill, Operations Manager at Hagerman Canyon Farms, noted, "The data now flows automatically between systems, which means we spend less time keying in orders and more time getting product out the door. It's a huge win for efficiency and accuracy."
