On September 17, 2025, LATAM Cargo Group announced it would expand its cargo operations between Europe and Argentina by increasing frequencies on the Brussels–Buenos Aires route. Beginning in October, the company will double its service from two to four weekly flights.
The additional capacity responds to growing demand and Argentina's role in international trade, particularly for industries such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, and general cargo. Until now, some of this cargo has relied on indirect connections. The added flights are expected to provide a more direct service option.

According to Matías Cortina, Commercial Director for Cargo Europe at LATAM Airlines Group, the expansion will support shipments that require regular and stable transport. With the new schedule, the company expects to move between 80 and 100 tons weekly. Distributing the four frequencies throughout the week will allow shippers more flexibility in planning and help maintain stable supply chains.
The increase is part of LATAM Cargo's wider expansion strategy between Europe and South America, which will bring the network to 15 weekly frequencies in both directions.
