Laem Chabang Port, located southeast of Bangkok and about 60 nautical miles from the Port of Bangkok, is the largest deep-water port in Thailand. It handles around 80% of the country's total container throughput and is regarded as Thailand's primary international container hub.

TLT and HLT are currently the largest operators at Laem Chabang. Their facilities include Berth A2 in TLT and Berths A3, C1-C2, and D1-D3 in HLT. Once fully completed and operational, including the partially constructed D3 berth, these facilities are expected to provide a combined annual capacity of about 6.7 million TEU.

According to the company, the acquisition will allow closer collaboration with shipping companies and partners in Thailand and Southeast Asia, as well as the expansion of logistics offerings such as terminal extension services.
