New fruit and vegetable trading and logistics center under construction in Osh

In Toloykon village, Kara-Suu district, Osh region, Kyrgyzstan, the company Asia Organics is completing a new agro-logistics center capable of storing and flash-freezing up to 1,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables.

The project is financed under a World Bank initiative to support the development of Osh city and the surrounding region. Its total cost is 28 million Kyrgyzstani som (≈ €274,000).

The Ministry of Agriculture expects the center to expand opportunities for local farmers, helping preserve harvests, improve logistics, and facilitate access to both domestic and international markets.
