From 6–10 of October, an outgoing agricultural trade mission will be organized from the Netherlands to Angola. The mission will focus on key growth sectors, including sustainable agriculture (fruits, seeds, and horticulture) as well as logistics.
Angola, one of Africa's largest countries, is prioritizing economic diversification and food security, creating strong opportunities for Dutch businesses. With vast availability of agricultural land and a government eager to reduce import dependence, Angola offers a growing market for Dutch expertise. In sustainable agriculture, the country's fertile soils and growing population call for smart, climate-resilient solutions, from horticulture to precision farming. Meanwhile, ongoing investment in logistical corridors like the Lobito Corridor presents a chance to co-develop efficient, integrated agri-logistics value chains (e.g. avocados, citrus). Dutch innovation is well-positioned to support Angola's transformation.
