Rinieri's "Meglio" technology

Targeted plant nutrition makes a significant difference in both yield and cost savings per hectare

Achieving optimal crop nutrition is essential for maximizing yield size and quality. This is also true for tall crops, such as vines and fruit trees.

"The main goal when it comes to orchards is to provide the plants with the necessary nutrients to maximize the efficiency of chlorophyll photosynthesis, which is the foundation for optimal quality," says Fabrizio Bresciani, Marketing and Communications Manager at Rinieri. However, achieving this requires sophisticated equipment that ensures precise application, providing multiple benefits to farmers, who save money and achieve higher yields, as well as to the environment. Dispensing the right amount of fertilizer and placing it exactly where it is needed reduces waste and the unwanted dispersion of fertilizer in the soil."

To meet these requirements, Rinieri offers the "Meglio" model, a 600-kilogram capacity precision pneumatic fertilizer spreader. This new piece of equipment is carried by the tractor at the rear and has limited overall dimensions. Thanks to its ability to adapt to different planting layouts, it improves the efficiency of under-row fertilization practices in vineyards and orchards. A fan distributes the granular product in a 60-70 centimeter band that can be decreased to 40-45 centimeters with appropriate directional extensions.

Bresciani adds, "There is also a geolocation GPS system that operates continuously and allows the work site to modulate fertilizer dispensing punctually, increasing or decreasing the distributed dose according to advanced speed."
