In the first seven months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 490,600 tons of fruits and vegetables, worth $506.4 million, according to the State Customs Committee.
This represents a 32% increase in value and a 33% rise in volume compared to the same period of 2024, when exports totaled 368,600 tons worth $383.9 million.
Key export products included:
- Tomatoes: 143,600 tons worth $156.9 million (+23% in volume, +12.4% in value);
- Hazelnuts: 11,400 tons worth $82.5 million;
- Apples: 54,400 tons worth $38.3 million;
- Persimmons: 45,800 tons worth $32.9 million;
- Potatoes: 70,800 tons worth $28.1 million;
- Pomegranates: 5,000 tons worth $4.3 million.
Tomatoes remained Azerbaijan's leading horticultural export, accounting for nearly one-third of total revenue.
