North Macedonia launches digital platform to support farmers
Backed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the key objectives of the 'Makedonsko Najdobro' (Macedonia's Best) campaign include increasing domestic agricultural output, fostering rural prosperity, raising awareness of the quality and authenticity of local products, and improving citizen access to Macedonian agricultural and processed products. A digital platform, makedonskonajdobro.mk, has been created to facilitate farmer registration and promotion, showcase Macedonian production, and register sales outlets. The Ministry has secured support from the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Agricultural Producers for the 'Makedonsko Najdobro' campaign. Flipkart Minutes revealed that peak quick commerce orders occurred between 7 am and 8 am for morning necessities and young consumers in cities such as Pune, Patna, and Bengaluru were the most active instant shoppers. Lidl close to overtaking Morrisons as UK's fifth-biggest supermarket
Lidl is close to overtaking Morrisons to become the UK's fifth-biggest supermarket chain after a sales rise as shoppers attempted to offset higher household bills with cheap groceries. The German-owned discounter increased sales by 10.7% in the three months to 11 August, according to the latest market share data from analysts at Worldpanel, formerly known as Kantar. This was more than double the pace of the wider market, which rose 4.5%.
