The leadership change follows Yukiguni Factory's participation in the company in 2023 and is part of efforts to align management with the company's evolving strategy. Koppen said, "I feel that the time has come to make room for new leadership. I have full confidence in the future of Sproomz. I value my strong connection with both Sproomz and Yukiguni Factory and take great pride in everything we have accomplished together."
He will take a sabbatical before considering his next professional role. In the meantime, management responsibilities will be handled internally by Lisa van Veen and Vincent Merks, with a longer-term leadership structure to be developed in line with the company's strategy.
Sproomz and Yukiguni Factory have acknowledged Koppen's contributions during his tenure and confirmed the transition will continue over the coming period.
