Banana prices UK - Week 33:

Colombia banana prices stable, Costa Rica slightly higher

Banana prices for Colombia remained unchanged this week compared to the previous reporting period. The average price stood at £0.99 per kilogram, the same level as the previous week's average of £0.99. This indicates price stability in the Colombian supply, with no variation recorded between weeks.

Costa Rica, however, registered a small adjustment in its banana prices. The average price this week was £1.00 per kilogram, slightly higher than the previous week's £0.98. This marks an increase of £0.02, or about 2%, showing a minor upward trend in the Costa Rican supply.

Overall, not much has changed in banana prices across these origins, with Colombia holding steady and Costa Rica showing only a slight movement. The variations remain limited, reflecting a stable market situation in the current reporting period.
