The Italian plant nursery industry is gaining ground in international markets. Boasting tradition and innovation, it also has a certification system that attests to the health and superior quality of its products. For the third consecutive year, Salvi Vivai will be present at Fruit Attraction. The Ferrara-based company's booth will be part of the collective exhibition organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in the Italian pavilion and coordinated by CIVI-ITALIA.

The Salvi Vivai sales force will be available at their stand to share their expertise on strawberry, kiwi, cherry, apple, and pear plants, as well as the products of the new PROLAB micropropagation laboratory.
A major highlight of the Madrid event will be the QVI - Qualità Vivaistica Italia quality mark, which represents genetic and health standards that exceed European mandatory certifications, as well as those that are non-mandatory.
The CIVI-ITALIA collective aims to promote the national plant nursery sector in foreign markets and highlight the unique quality of Italian production to international buyers and operators. "Our daily work transforms varietal research into healthy, high-performing plants. This allows every producer to rely on certified-quality nursery material," explains Jacopo Diamanti. He is Salvi Vivai's research manager, who will be at the stand.

For years, the company has been involved in varietal research with the CIV - Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti and the promotion of effective farming practices. At the Madrid fair, the company will demonstrate how Italian nursery gardening can provide farmers with practical, cutting-edge solutions. QVI certification is distinctive to Italy and guarantees higher quality standards. In international markets, this certification is recognized as a valuable asset.
This voluntary certification system gives producers access to the highest-grade plant material. It is also recognized outside the European Union and allows our nurserymen to export Italian plant material.
By participating in the Madrid fair, Salvi Vivai has confirmed its role as an ambassador of Italian nursery excellence and a promoter of the QVI system in foreign markets. This strengthens the link between certification, innovation, and competitiveness in the sector.
According to Andrea Bagnolini, Salvi Vivai's sales director, "Participating with CIVI-Italia in the ICE - Italian Agency for the Promotion Abroad and Internationalization of Italian Companies space allows us to explore important markets and expand our international relations. In fact, thanks to ICE, we are able to translate the numerous contacts into productive relationships."
