Patrizio Neri is the new president of Cesena Fiera

Patrizio Neri is the new chairman of Cesena Fiera, the company that organises Macfrut (Rimini, 21-23 April 2026). The Board elected him after ratifying the resignation of Renzo Piraccini, the president who led the organisation for over 10 years, taking Macfrut to unprecedented levels.

Patrizio Neri (Jingold President) will lead the exhibition until the end of his mandate in May 2026. The Board replaced Piraccini and Katia Guerrini with Carlo Costa (Ieg Fiera Rimini Group) and Alessandra Graziani (Graziani Packaging).

The Board of Directors of Cesena Fiera, which met on 26 September 2025, took note of the resignation of vice-president Catia Guerrini, which had already been communicated, and the resignation of president Renzo Piraccini, announced at the meeting. During the same meeting, the Board of Directors proceeded, pursuant to the Articles of Association and the provisions of the Italian Civil Code, to co-opt two new members of the Board of Directors: Carlo Costa and Alessandra Graziani.

Carlo Costa is the Chief Corporate Officer at IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) and is responsible for managing the Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal&Compliance sectors and the corporate activities of the subsidiaries. Alessandra Graziani is the Marketing Manager at Graziani Packaging, a company operating in the fruit and vegetable and industrial packaging sector.

The current board of directors of Cesena Fiera is composed of Carlo Costa, Ernesto Fornari, Alessandra Graziani, Paolo Lucchi, Patrizio Neri, Lorenzo Tersi, and Enrico Turoni. The Board of Directors, in its new composition, promptly met and assigned director Patrizio Neri, president of Jingold and president of Fruitimprese Emilia Romagna, the role of president of Cesena Fiera. Carlo Costa was appointed as vice-president.

The new structure will be confirmed during the Shareholders' Meeting, which will approve the budget for 2026. Also, through a new Macfrut Committee, the aim is to continue promoting the growth of the international fruit and vegetable fair in the wake of the great results achieved by Renzo Piraccini, whom the Board of Directors thanked for his work over the years.
