Coviro SRL, a nursery company specialising in the production of strawberry and asparagus plants, will be taking part in Fruit Attraction for the second year running. "We have staked a great deal on this trade fair," explains sales manager Marcello Sbrighi. "After many years as visitors, last year we decided to become exhibitors in the ICE pavilion, in the CIVI-Italy collective. For us, Fruit Attraction is not only a precious moment to give visibility to our work, but also a unique opportunity to strengthen our presence and share Italian nursery quality with operators from all over the world."

Together with CIVI-Italia and other plant producers, Coviro promotes plants certified with the QVI - Qualità Vivaistica Italia mark. This system represents a guarantee of seriousness, traceability, and consistency in plant quality, offering customers the security of controlled and reliable nursery material. In Madrid, Coviro will present two new Californian strawberry varieties, born from the collaboration with California Berry Cultivar LLC.
Alturas is a vigorous and hardy remontant variety with bright and firm fruits, ideal for markets requiring a longer shelf-life.
Belvedere is an early, highly productive June-bearing variety, perfect for Mediterranean climates and resistant to various diseases.
Alongside these novelties, the Italian varieties Ligea and Medì, selected by ARSAC, CREA, and Coop. Torrevecchia remains of pivotal importance. Ligea stands out for its constant production and regular size, while Medì is appreciated for its rusticity, early productivity, and adaptability to organic cultivation.

Deputy Director Aurora Kamami, responsible for the international market, emphasises that: "Demand increases every year both in Italy and abroad, where the markets are showing growing attention. Our commitment is to accompany customers with healthy and certified plants, but also with the technical know-how that allows each variety to express its full potential. At the same time, we aim to offer concrete and flexible solutions: at this time, we are delivering potted plants with plugs and, in October, fresh plants grown in our nurseries in Poland will also be available. Fruit Attraction will be an opportunity to present this quality guarantee and strengthen relations with established and new partners."
"We look forward to seeing everyone at Fruit Attraction, Hall P04 Stand 4D08D, to share our experience and present new strawberry and asparagus genetics. All plants are grown with Italian expertise and excellence," the managers conclude.
