Ukraine builds modern vegetable storage facility at Vinnytsia agricultural college

In the Vinnytsia region, Ukraine, the first stage of a multifunctional training and production complex has been completed at the Agrarian College.

The facility includes seven cold chambers with a total capacity of 1,275 tonnes, equipped with controlled atmosphere technology to extend storage time and reduce post-harvest losses.

The €4 million project is financed with the support of German partners. Future stages will add processing workshops and a civil shelter.

The complex also serves an educational purpose; students will practice on modern equipment in real production conditions.

"This will allow them to become true professionals in their field," noted Natalia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of Vinnytsia Regional Administration.
