Intercargo Scandinavia A/S (hereafter Intercargo) has entered into an agreement to acquire Angvik Auto Holland B.V. from the Norwegian Angvik Auto AS. This acquisition also includes the haulage subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Lithuania. Intercargo expands its already strong setup in the Benelux countries and consolidates its position in temperature controlled transport to and from the Nordic region.

The transaction is the result of a successful and constructive dialogue between Intercargo and the Dutch and Norwegian owners of Angvik Auto Holland B.V. The parties describe the process as a win-win solution that creates new growth opportunities. Angvik Auto Holland B.V. is a well-run business with a strong focus on service, quality, and flexibility, and the
company is a great fit for Intercargo's activities. The Dutch office and terminal will continue as an independent unit under Intercargo but will change its name to Intercargo Scandinavia B.V.
"We have had a long-standing partnership with Angvik Auto, built on mutual respect and
trust. This makes the acquisition a perfect match, and with their strong local management we are confident that together we will create an even stronger setup to serve our customers across Northern Europe," says Chris Mikkelsen, CEO of Intercargo Scandinavia A/S.
"It has been important for us to find a partner who can carry on
the foundation we have built in Angvik Auto B.V. We view Intercargo as a professional and ambitious player, and we are confident that together we can take the activities to the next level," says Remco van der Spruit, Managing Director of Intercargo Scandinavia B.V.
