The Association of Producers and Exporters of Hass Avocados from Peru - ProHass announced that the 2025 season is approaching its end with historic results. So far, 98% of the projected volume has been exported, totaling 690,000 metric tons—an estimate by the Association at the season's start. This achievement represents a 37% increase compared to the 2024 season, further strengthening Peru's position as one of the world's leading Hass avocado suppliers.

424,000 tons were destined for Europe, which has once again solidified its position as the country's avocados' primary market, accounting for 61% of shipments. This represents a 36% increase over the previous year, confirming the strength of European demand for Peruvian Hass avocados.
Simultaneously, notable growth was observed in key markets, including Japan, with a 73% increase, the United States, with a 54% increase, and China, with a 25% increase. These gains not only demonstrate the increasing global recognition of Peruvian fruit but also underscore the importance of diversifying destinations, a crucial factor for the sustainability and competitiveness of the Peruvian Hass avocado industry.
The announcement becomes particularly important ahead of the VII Latin American Avocado Congress, which will take place in Lima from November 17 to 19. The event will bring together leaders, experts, and companies from around the world to discuss industry challenges and opportunities.
Finally, ProHass announced that the official closing report for the 2025 season will be published at the end of October, marking the start of projections for the 2026 campaign.
