The recalled products were distributed between July 18 and August 4, 2025, through local distributors in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
According to the company, Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

No illnesses have been reported to date. The recall followed sampling carried out by the state of Pennsylvania at one of the company's distributors, which revealed that finished products tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. Distribution of the product has been halted while the FDA and Endico Potatoes continue investigating the source of the contamination.
Consumers who purchased Endico brand peas and carrots or mixed vegetables with the specified lot codes are advised not to consume them and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-431-1398.
