Finishing up California’s stone fruit season

California witnessed a bountiful stone fruit harvest this year. "For us, the season began ahead of schedule with warm, but moderate temperatures," says Krista Beckstead with Mountain View Fruit Sales. During the remainder of the season, there were very few stressful weather events and as a result, harvest was plentiful and the quality this year was excellent.

This season, Mountain View introduced newly refreshed retail bins for their retail customers as well as newly designed boxes that added some extra pizazz. "Along wit the updated packaging, we also launched a refreshed website featuring all things Mountain View, including a video telling our "Grown on Family Farms" story."

Saving the best for last
This week, the stone fruit season is finishing up for Mountain View with the company's Autumnripe brand. "Our Autumnripe fruit provides retail customers with a product that holds quality and flavor later into the season," Beckstead shared. "The later fruit extends the window beyond typical harvest periods, saving the best for last."

Anaheim Global Show
The team at Mountain View Fruit Sales is excited to close out the 2025 stone fruit season with the upcoming IFPA Show in Anaheim. "We are looking forward to touching base with our customers on how the season went and discuss possibilities for next year." The company is also looking forward to talking with retailers about the current grape season and upcoming California citrus season, which is right around the corner.

Stop by booth #1547 on October 17 and 18. Beckstead invites attendees to meet the team and grab a customized Mountain View peach energy drink to add some pep in your step while out on the show floor.
