Uzbek “Torpeda” melons reach Singapore for the first time

The first shipment of Torpeda melons from Uzbekistan, delivered by Fergana Exim Agro, has arrived in Singapore, marking a significant step in expanding the country's agricultural exports.

Despite Singapore's location in a region with many leading fruit and vegetable producers, Uzbek melons attracted attention with their natural sweetness and distinctive aroma, proving competitive in a demanding market with high safety and quality standards.

The export opens opportunities for increasing shipment volumes, securing long-term contracts, and expanding Uzbekistan's presence in Southeast Asian markets, while also promoting other fruit and vegetable products under the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand.
