During the summer of 2025, Ukraine imported 19,770 tons of tomatoes, 20.8% more than in the summer of 2024 (16,370 tons).
The value of imported tomatoes reached $27.78 million, up 25.5% from $22.13 million a year earlier.
At the same time, only 88 tons of tomatoes were exported, 2.4 times less than in summer 2024 (214 tons), generating $102,000 in revenue, down 2.2 times from $224,000.
As a result, imports exceeded exports by nearly 225 times over June–August 2025.
