IBO 2025 report highlights global blueberry shifts

The International Blueberry Organization (IBO) has released the 2025 IBO Report, which provides an overview of the blueberry industry's global performance during the 2024 season. The report was presented at the IBO Summit in South Africa and is the result of input from country representatives, industry specialists, and analysts.

The publication examines global trade patterns, regional shifts in production, the role of emerging markets, and the trend toward premium fruit. It also looks at supply chain adjustments and grower strategies in the context of a more mature industry.

The 2025 report provides data and analysis to support an understanding of worldwide production and market developments. It tracks the impact of macroeconomic and environmental pressures on supply and assesses changes in production structures and quality standards. It also considers the role of new technologies and genetics in the sector and allows national industries to benchmark their performance against global trends.

The IBO report is intended as a reference for growers, exporters, importers, marketers, investors, and policymakers working within the blueberry sector.
