The exhibition highlighted the vitality and development potential of the fruit industry, covering cultivation, cold chain logistics, packaging technology, machinery, and equipment. Domestic Chinese fruit brands also displayed strong momentum at the expo. Emerging companies such as Yishujia, Yikeda, Shengli Agriculture, Jiangsu Lvgang (Yishiyuan), Wangzhanggui, Menglian Avocado, and Xuewang Agriculture showcased their regional specialties alongside production-area pavilions from Yunnan, Guangxi, Xinjiang, and Hainan. Their presence reflected the rapid growth and diversification of China's fruit industry.

"Breeding the Future" breeding pavilion makes debut
This year's event marked the debut of the "Breeding the Future" pavilion, jointly established by four leading global variety companies: BLOOM FRESH, Fall Creek China, Sun World, and SVM. The pavilion aims to promote sustainable growth in China's fruit industry. Through on-site discussions, it introduced growers to licensed varieties, cultivation techniques, and market opportunities, while offering standardized licensing solutions that integrate seedlings, technology, and branding. This approach fosters the organic link between "good varieties, good orchards, and good markets."

The pavilion also participated in an international showcase of outstanding fruit varieties, presenting cutting-edge breeding achievements. These initiatives aim to transform the "sword of rights protection" into a "bridge of win-win cooperation," driving innovation, supporting development, and providing high-quality resources for China's fruit sector.

E-commerce and wholesale markets joining forces
Major e-commerce platforms, including FreshHema, JD Fresh, Douyin e-commerce, Kuaishou e-commerce, and Dingdong Maicai, joined the exhibition, engaging with traders from leading wholesale markets in China and abroad, such as Jiaxing Fruit Market, Jiaxing Haiguangxing Market, Guangzhou Jiangnonghui Market, Guangzhou Chalong Market, Dongguan Jiangnan Guanxiang Market, Kunming Haiguangxing Market, Shouheng Gaobeidian Market, and Thailand's TalaadThai Market. Together, they explored new opportunities for collaboration.

The organizing committee also partnered with Douyin e-commerce to launch a dedicated livestreaming area for the "Douyin Mall Strolling Festival." This initiative showcased premium fruit products via livestreams, attracting both online and offline audiences while giving exhibitors new promotional channels to boost brand visibility and market influence.

Visitors noted, "In the past, the China International Fruit Expo was often seen as focusing mainly on bulk trade and major brands, making participation challenging for small and medium-sized distributors. This year, however, the exhibition has offered richer and more diverse content, creating valuable opportunities for smaller fruit enterprises to expand their markets and capture new business."

Immersive fruit culture experience
The exhibition also featured the "2025 Shanghai Summer Pudong Carnival" series of events. Among them, the "Fruit Wave on the Bund" global fresh fruit market, open to the public for the first time, was staged during the expo. Consumers were able to join the festivities, experience the diversity of fruit culture, and learn about the unique qualities of fruit products from around the world. This event further strengthened ties between the fruit industry and the consumer market.
