The Role
As Head Grower, you’ll oversee crop production across our existing and expanding facilities, lead a skilled team of growers, and drive improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee integration and startup of 8.5 hectare hi tech greenhouse
• Utilize Priva systems to optimize climate, irrigation, and fertigation strategies
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of growers and support staff
• Monitor crop health, production metrics, and quality standards
• Collaborate on R&D, varietal trials, and process innovation
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labor, and environmental standards
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale greenhouse tomato production
• In-depth knowledge of Priva systems, hydroponics
• Proven leadership and staff management capabilities
• Degree or diploma in horticulture, agronomy, plant science, or related field
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
