The event, organized by TSI Life Science Advance S.A. in collaboration with Eurofins, brought together representatives from exporting companies, producers, academics, government officials, and technical specialists to share knowledge and strengthen the capabilities of the agro-export sector in the face of the international markets' challenges.

The two-day event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and technical sessions with both national and international experts. Topics covered included certification trends, supply chain traceability challenges, social responsibility in agriculture, and experiences implementing good agricultural practices in different Latin American contexts.

One of the highlights of the program was the technical visit to Fertinyc's facilities, a pineapple exporter that has integrated sustainability practices and international standards into its production model. The tour allowed attendees to see firsthand how a certified production system operates, from agronomic management to labor and environmental practices.

The GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR in Costa Rica sets a precedent in the region by providing a space where opportunities for improvement are identified, common challenges are discussed, and tools applicable to different productive realities are shared. It also shows the increasing interest in Latin America to align production systems with the market's quality, safety, and sustainability demands.

The event was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Costa Rica and PROCOMER. Certifying companies, technical organizations, and private sector representatives actively participated in it.
