A concept design for a LEGO fruit basket has been submitted to the LEGO Ideas platform by builder Jagamax. The set, titled Fruits Basket, contains 1,257 pieces and replicates a range of fruit types within a stylized bowl.
The proposed kit is positioned as an extension of LEGO's existing Botanicals collection, which includes flower sets aimed at home decoration. According to Jagamax, "I absolutely love the 'realistic objects' theme in LEGO, something we saw a lot during the first BDP in 2021 with sets like Pursuit of Flight, Sheriff's Safe or Clockwork Aquarium, and more recently with the Antique Collection and LEGO Ideas sets like the Globe, the Typewriter, etc. I think this set could perfectly fit right between that theme and the botanical collection."

The basket measures 22 cm in diameter (8.6 inches) and includes models of a banana with stickers, red and green apples, a pear, grape clusters in red and green, two clementine slices, and cherries. The fruits are designed with interior details, so splitting an apple or a banana would reveal the flesh or pit inside. The bowl is styled to resemble a porcelain vessel with blue and white glazed patterns.
The submission is currently progressing through the LEGO Ideas forum process. With over 2,000 votes recorded, it is working toward the 10,000-vote threshold required for review by LEGO's internal team, which would then assess its potential for retail release.
If approved, further fruit types could be introduced into the product line, with possibilities including mangoes, melons, pomegranates, and strawberries.
The LEGO Ideas platform allows fans to submit concepts and gather community support. Projects reaching 10,000 votes are reviewed by LEGO for possible commercial production.
