More than 800 industry representatives attended the official inauguration that took place on September 2, marking the start of an event that is reaching historic figures this year. A total of 760 exhibiting companies from more than 40 countries and regions are showcasing their products, and more than 1,000 premium buyers and representatives of international retail chains are expected to attend, as well as trade visitors of more than 70 nationalities.

"We welcome the global fruit and vegetable community for three inspiring days of innovation, networking, and business opportunities," said David Axiotis, managing director of Asia Fruit Logistica, noting that this edition "promises a truly international and unforgettable experience."

One of the fair's main attractions is the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre, organized together with Asiafruit Magazine. This space will feature more than 50 specialized speakers, who will address topics such as consumption trends, market analyses, logistical challenges, and strategies to strengthen exports to Asia and other destinations.

This year also marks the introduction of the First Timer Pavilion, an area for companies participating for the first time, which is giving attendees the opportunity to discover new products and network with emerging suppliers.

Peru, guest country, and Asiafruit anniversary
In this edition, Peru is participating as the official guest country, reinforcing its position as one of the main suppliers of fresh fruit for the Asian markets. The fair is also commemorating Asiafruit's 30th anniversary, a milestone achieved after three decades of work connecting producers, exporters, importers, and distributors from all over the world.

The event is also backed by the Guangzhou Jiangnan and Shanghai Huizhan Wholesale Markets, strategic partners for the distribution of fresh produce in China.

Over the next few days, the program will include launches of new varieties, tastings, business rounds, technical presentations, and multiple networking spaces.
