Australia Fruit has been exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica for 17 years now, and the boys are a familiar sight on the trade show floor.
This year, Vince Brullo, Joe Tullio, and Ray Erwin from Australia Fruits will be on the stand with cherry grower Wandin Valley Farms' Rueben and Alison Jones, and stone fruit grower Tony Siciliano from VFS Siciliano.
"The grape season was ok this year," said Vince Brullo. "We had good arrivals, and some markets were better than others. Japan and Thailand performed well this season.

"The weather was dry this year, so the quality was very good for grapes. We had some weather issues in November, which did affect some of the cherry production. Cherries and stone fruit were our main export lines this past season. Our main export markets are Vietnam, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia.

"A couple of years ago, Cambodia and the Pacific Islands were seen as emerging markets, and they have worked out well. Pacific Island business continues to grow with our mixed orders. Cambodia is an emerging market and will continue to grow. Vietnam has been the best market for growth, with cherries and plums going very well this past season.

"Plums to Vietnam seem to have a lot of potential for growth, last season was the first year of access, and we believe it will continue to grow with the likes of cherry plums, Ruby Royal plum, Festival Red, Ebony Rose, Honey Punch, and October Sun plums which were all a hit in the market."
Australia Fruits will be at the Australian Pavilion at 3S-01
