A 2,000-ton fruit and vegetable logistics center opens in Osh, Kyrgyzstan

In the Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district of Osh, Kyrgyzstan, the company Turan Group has built a trade and logistics center with the capacity to store and acoustically freeze up to 2,000 tons of fruits and vegetables, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The project was financed through Eldik Bank under the ARIS cluster development program (20 million soms, about €210,000) and supported by the World Bank (35 million soms, about €370,000).

The facility covers 0.4 hectares, and all equipment has already been installed, the ministry noted.
